EXPIRATION DATING

Question: Why is there no expiration date on my vitamins?

NovaNutrients lot numbers are tied to the Date of Manufacture (DOM), in order to comply with regulations set forth in the FDA’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) oversees the manufacture and labeling of dietary supplements and does not require an expiration date on dietary supplements; however, if one is used, it must be supported by stability testing data. At this time, these regulations are still evolving and FDA has yet to define what they consider to be adequate data.

GMP guidelines for dietary supplements are more in line with pharmaceutical GMPs. In order to be 100% compliant with our industry’s GMPs, we label our products with lot numbers which are traceable to the date of manufacture. Every ingredient in our products is analyzed before manufacturing to comply with strict standards and specifications for identity, purity and potency (this includes microbiological and heavy metal testing) before they are released to make a finished product. NovaNutrients’ finished products are tested again before they are released for packaging.

Our manufacturing facility is inspected by the FDA and also certified as a GMP compliant establishment.

SUBSCRIBE & SAVE

NovaNutrients offers "Subscribe & Save" options for products you regularly use. Customers select the shipping interval and get a special price for subscribing.  This eliminates the need to re-order regularly and you get a better price.  You manage your own shipments and can change the intervals within 48 hours of the shipping date.

SHIPPING CHARGES

If your order is $70 or more and destined for shipment within the US or US protectorate, it qualifies for Free US Shipping via USPS!

Orders under $70 are shipped via USPS at an economical shipping rate of only $7.95 per order.

If you live outside the US, rates are calculated based on the final destination and weight of your order.  We do not add any fees to the actual shipping charges.

WHEN WILL MY PRODUCT SHIP?

Our usual and customary service is to ship orders received by noon Pacific time on the same day, following confirmation of payment.  Orders received after our noon shipping cut off are shipped the next morning. Orders received before noon Pacific time are generally shipped on the same day. When products are in stock, they are typically shipped in 24-48 hours.  If a product is out of stock, you will be notified and also see the "Sold Out" notice on the product page.

NOVAPOINTS REWARDS

NovaNutrients has a rewards program that awards 1 point per $1 spent, when you have a registered account.  Points cannot be awarded to anonymous accounts.  To start earning points:  1) register for a NovaNutrients account and 2) link your account by clicking the Get Rewarded orange button.  Here are details on how to get started:  NovaPoints Rewards.

WHY DO I NEED TO REGISTER FOR REWARDS?

To take advantage of our NovaPoints Rewards Program, a registered account is required to link sales to an email so that points can be calculated.  If you use anonymous checkout, we do not track your sales, your email, or any information about you, making it impossible to accumulate data required to award points.
